SpiritSeed.com Newsletter January 2006 January's channel All The Difference In The World New Year’s 2006 started with a bang.  Literally, it began with an airbags deploying, radiator bursting bang that led to my trusty 1998 Isuzu Rodeo getting totaled.  Needless to say, I was not happy.  I sat down not too long after the event to talk to Spirit.  I had to wait for my anger at God and life to subside before I was able to get any kind of a clear answer from them.  After all, as I saw it, it was all their fault.  Here is our conversation.  John:  I don't get it.  I do this spiritual work.  I live my life the best I can within what I consider to be a somewhat spiritual framework.  Then why is it that this New Year’s Day my car gets totaled, and within two weeks of that happening, the company that has employed me for the past seven years files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, putting my job in jeopardy? Spirit:  Dear one, you look at Spirit as though we are to blame.  We are not. John:  Yeah, but don't you guys know what’s going to happen and when?  Can't you see the potentials for an event?  Aren't you on my side?  Why didn't you warn me to take another route home, rather than one that was iced over?  I did not need to start the New Year off without a car. Spirit:  No dear one.  You did not need to start the year off without a vehicle.  And yes, we could have warned you to take an alternate route home.  However, had we done so, you would not have moved through the energy that you needed to move through.  It was your choice.  This was not done to you.  You created it, for you. J:  Why would I create a situation where I could have been seriously injured, or worse, hurt Carol, or somebody else for that matter? S:  The human race does it every day.  And each time, it is done for the same purpose: to bring lesson and to clear energy.  Some choose to do it with illness, some with accidents.  It can be said that each and every moment, event, and exchange with another person upon your plane is another opportunity for energy clearing.  There are myriad possibilities, all being written by you, for you, on the fly.  You are all rather adept at it.  You cannot fathom with your finite mind all that is involved in creating the world that you experience. S: And yes, we do see potentials for your events.  You too design those.  Typically, there are three in number. Bear in mind that Carol’s energy played a part in the equation as well.  Your energies at the particular place in time you have set for an event to take place will dictate the outcome.  Your “accident” may not have happened at all had both your energies been different.  You tires may have slipped but you would have recovered control of your vehicle without causing any damage.  Depending upon your energy, the potential existed for your “accident” to be much more severe.  Your car may have spun out of control and hit the guardrail at a far greater rate of speed, causing you and Carol physical injury, as well as damaging not only your property but also the property of others.  Because your energy is ever changing, events such as these are moving targets, near impossible to predict until you are actually in the moment.  Each scenario is different, yet in the end they serve the same purpose: to awaken yourself to the reality of who you are.  We have told you before dear one, and we know it is a difficult concept to grasp, but there is nothing that is ever done to you without your permission.  Whatever is in your life, it is in your life for a reason.  You have placed it there.  There are no exceptions.  We are not here to warn you of the lessons that you yourself have created.  There would be no point to it.  You are here to experience these energies and events.  We are here to guide you, to help you through it all.  We are here to love you when you cannot love yourself, whatever your experience.   You are protected dear one, not exempt. J:  So I have a target on my back? S:  We find it funny that that is all you heard.  No dear one, there is no target upon your back.  We use the term to bring up more of your energy.  You often feel as though you are Spirit’s plaything, that God is out to get you, and that you are being punished for your sins. J:  It’s called Catholicism. S:  Call it what you will.  There are no sinners dear one, and God does not sit upon a throne meting out punishments for crimes never committed.  God right now is sitting at his computer typing upon his keyboard, struggling to open his heart and remember the truth of his divinity.  God at this moment is in her minivan, driving her children to school, cursing the traffic and begging for cooperation from the souls in the back seat that she both loves and hates at the same time.  God in this instant is sitting at her office desk, sipping on her coffee, preparing for a day that she already knows will be complete hell.  God, right now, is reading these words, wondering if they are meant for him or her as well.  Yes, dear one, they are meant for you as well, alleged sinner or saint.  Self-awareness is the only difference between the two.  We ask that you remember this as you move through your days and face your challenges.  It will quite literally make all the difference in the world.   Copyright Notice: Please include this when using this material.   Copyright © 2006 John Owen. About Us John and Carol are one and the same. They, like most reading this, chose to separate in order to feel, in order to experience separation from Self. This separation was undertaken voluntarily, a choice freely made by an individual expression of God. The separation, as those of the world would have you believe, was not and has never been a punishment. There has been no “fall.” There is no distance between God and Her Creations. Rather, the “separation” is cause for celebration. The degree of love necessary to facilitate such a thing as this has seldom been realized upon this plane. That has been so until now. Carol and John are one of many souls who have separated in and over time in the hope of reuniting with each other at this point in our planets history. The reasoning behind this is that we all need to heal our seeming separation from God. The only way we can begin to do that is by our healing our seeming separation from each other. They have undergone, and continue to undergo a great reawakening. They, as we all, are works in progress. They have done much in order to remember who it is that they are. Allow them to help you remember as well. They offer no quick fixes. There is work to be done, and it is not always the most pleasant of work at that. The energies of the human condition are often heavy, and as such, it is often best to remove the debris slowly, one day, one stone at a time. In Light of recent events, it is more important than ever that this work now begin in earnest. And make no mistake; there is a great deal of Light behind the seeming darkness of the world you find yourselves living in today. If you find yourself reading these words, then perhaps they have been written for you. We would remind you that there are no mistakes, and that nothing is as it seems. You are held in Light and Love. Karmic Energy Clearing / Relation Shifting We hope to convey to you as much as we can, as clearly as we can, what we have received from Spirit concerning our incarnations on this planet now, in lifetimes previous, and future lifetimes to come, and the process Carol and I call Karmic Energy Clearing, or relation-shifting.  We will be discussing reincarnation as a fact, a necessary element for the evolution of the soul.  In truth, evolution would be the wrong word to use, because it implies that the soul is in the process of becoming.  Reclamation would be a better word, but still not perfect.  To reclaim something one would have to lose it.  We do not, we cannot lose what is given us by God.  What we can do and what we have done, by design, is forgotten our soul, forgotten our connection to Source.  The soul, your soul, right now, is perfect, just as Spirit, or God, or Source, created it. What is imperfect is our "soul memory."  We no longer recall who we are or where it is we come from.  This too is by design.  Our soul memory, or "soul sight" is clouded, blocked, or more appropriately buried beneath energies and experiences that hinder our seeing ourselves as we truly are, as facets of a Divine Diamond.  These energies are of our own creation and by our own design.  Nothing happens to us without, on some level, our permission.  Speaking linearly, these are emotional energies from lifetimes past that we carry with us today.  During our seminars we discuss these energies, why they happen, how to take ownership of them, and how to can begin the process of clearing them.  In so doing, we begin to remember who we truly are. Separation from Spirit is an illusion.  In truth, we have never been apart, nor are we capable of being apart from Spirit.  We can however believe that we are.  It has taken millennia to cement the belief of separation within us.  It was not an easy task, removing the knowledge of our Divinity from our awareness.  Souls so aware of their Creator would not, could not believe otherwise.  That is until we were finally able to convince ourselves, through lifetime after lifetime, that the illusion of separation was real.  From then on, we have continued to believe that we are unworthy of our Divinity.  Since the beginning of recorded time, look at what we have done to each other.  Such guilt, shame and sorrow, how can we possibly forgive ourselves?  We cannot.  Moreover, look at what others have done to us.  How many of us hold within ourselves events that we deem unforgivable, done to us by complete strangers, not to mention those we believe love us most, our closest family and friends?   Acts of such extreme betrayal, loss, abandonment, and abuse.  Can we forgive them?  Can we forgive those who perpetrated such events?  We do not.  We continue to make the illusion real and imprison each other within it. Were we able to peak behind the veil, we would see that the souls that have time and time again broken our hearts and destroyed our spirits have done so because we have asked them to.  Those that bring the greatest lesson indeed love us the most and give us the greatest gift; the potential to remember who we are and why we are here; to recall that each is part of the other.  They wake us from our slumber and move us along our paths.  However, rather than remember our Mastery and take responsibility, we close our eyes and seal our hearts, as we have lifetime after lifetime.  We hold onto the pain, burying it deep beneath ages of anger and sorrow.  It keeps us safe.  It protects us from further harm.  It is self-preservation.  And that is exactly what we have preserved, our individual selves. This energy, this self, is what we return to time and time again.  It defines us.  We are all a pre-existing condition.  We are the sum total of all the experiences from all the lifetimes we've lived upon this plane.  We arrive here, picking up where we left off in the hopes of finally clearing the energies we carry with us, and restoring our Self.  These energies are the lenses through which we view our lives and our worlds.  Make no mistake; we each live in a world of our own making.  With every beat of our hearts, these energies color our world, and flavor our every relationship.  It is that personal.  The good news is that you can heal it.  You can make a "relation-shift."  It can be healed by looking at these karmic energies, understanding where they stem from, how they occurred, and then moving through them, feeling them and releasing them, rather than remaining stagnant within them.  Release the energies and remember your Soul.  Look within your Self and bring healing to what you have buried deep within the recesses of your heart. The time is now.  Self-preservation is no longer necessary.  It is time to heal the separation.  It is time to clear our emotional bodies, opening them wide once again to restore the divine flow within each of our hearts, and to restore the memory of our unity, our Divinity.  It is time to chip away the cement that entombs our most sacred heart.  It is through our emotional body, our hearts that we remember who we are.  Feel free to feel again. The expedition draws to a close.  Know that we have never been alone, not even in the darkest of hours.  Spirit is beside us all along, just as they are right here and now.  At our request, Source has hidden itself from us.  We are able to once again peel back the curtain, and remember that we are indeed the Masters.
